The Moon-Randolph Homestead was established on 470 acres in the foothills of Missoula’s Rattlesnake Wilderness in the 1890’s. The stories that haven’t blown away remain closed behind locked doors.

The challenge to reveal my photographic muse baffled me until I realized the Montana sky appears in my photos more often than family members. Perhaps my affinity for freedom makes me a relative of the sky. Let’s hope God has a place for me there when I die.
