Photo: Empty Playground

This week’s challenge: Creepy

Empty swings are haunting. Life is choked from this playground as smoke from nearby wildfires adds to the sense of Armageddon.

This week’s photo challenge: Symbol

The French maritime cross symbolizes faith, love, and hope. In Montana, the mountains are our sea. God hasn’t forsaken us. Turn the anchor upside down and it becomes a peaked mountain.

Today’s Photo Challenge: Door

The Moon-Randolph Homestead was established on 470 acres in the foothills of Missoula’s Rattlesnake Wilderness in the 1890’s. The stories that haven’t blown away remain closed behind locked doors.

Photo: Relative to Sky

Today’s Photo Challenge: Muse

The challenge to reveal my photographic muse baffled me until I realized the Montana sky appears in my photos more often than family members. Perhaps my affinity for freedom makes me a relative of the sky. Let’s hope God has a place for me there when I die.
