Who Am I?

headshotI believe in the power of words.

They can be used to lift up or hurt, pacify or anger, remembered eternally, or easily forgotten. The liaison between our internal and external lives, words transcend space and settle on our emotions.

I’m currently working on a book-length memoir. Other work is found in:

I was a recipient of the Montana Honorary Fellowship to Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Nov.- Dec. 2018. I live in Missoula, Montana with my husband and our two daughters. Thanks for visiting. You are a gift.

    1. Thank you so much for the nomination. I had to sleep on this, as I have a hard time choosing nominees. I turned down one nomination, however, I think I will accept yours. I am humbled that you find my blog inspiring, so thank you again.

  1. I still love your gravatar picture and the one her on your about page. Both are so fun. Just felt like saying that. Would have sent a DM in twitter but you don’t follow me there. I think that’s because you are not a Twitter Fiend. 😀

    1. Thanks Ronovan. Twitter bogs me down with too many feeds when I’d rather be light as a bird. That’s kind of the irony with Twitter isn’t it?

      1. I use it as a way to talk in private, like if I see something on a blog that is like out of alignment or major typo. I let the blogger know, as long as they are a friend who won’t yell at me for it. 🙂 I do that rather than point it out in a comment.

        1. OK, you win. I am now following you on Twitter. You do realize that I am holding you accountable for all the mistakes on my blog. 😉
